The next generation of Wikipedia

Irene McGee, our San Francisco reporter (who you may recognize from MTV's RealWorld), is bringing us her first report. She managed to steal some time with Jimmy Wales who founded Wikipedia. He's up to something new and in this clip you can learn all about it.

I wish there were similar resources to help me when I first cracked WOW...

Colbert loves to encourage Wikipedia vandelism...only some of his suggestions are really good...and really funny.

This was an interesting segment, especially towards the end about Wikia and where that is going.  There is so much to be said about WOW.  I'm kind of surprised Microsft hasn't capitalized on expanding some kind of spin-off franchise through Xbox Live, but I guess the technical limitations and legal rights pose too great a logistical challenge.
