While everyone else is talking about it and showing grainy camera phone pictures from undisclosed bunkers, we thought we’d go right to the source and get you an exclusive video. You think you need it, you know you want it, and we have it – the Xbox 360 Elite. I sat down with Albert Penello to get some of your questions answered. Yes, it has HDMI & 120GB hard drive. No, it doesn’t have an HD-DVD player. Yes you can still pull audio separate from the HDMI. No, it isn’t going to be a limited edition. Yes, it’s awesome! Sweet Elite is finally official and all this retarded rumour mongering finally die. christ, not soon enough.

Pointless I hope no one buys into this ridiculous overpriced, underpowered (software) "relaunch" of the high end SKU.

Also both interviews, Tina's and Hryb's try to spin Elite for canadians even though XBLVM is NOT available to canadians. What's that about? tsk.

Pretty cool I may have to "upgrade" mine for the HDMI capability however I hope I can get this in white vs. blk. As silly as it may sound I've grown accustomed to the "new" white color and if you're going to use the BMW analogy I better have more options for the price; I know I did when I got my 5 series, so I hope it's the case with this Elite system.

Well, at least I don't have to fork over more cash to buy a console I already have.

At last...the bigger hard drive we've all been craving and Microsoft was even considerate enough to let us transfer data this time.

I'm wondering if there were any improvements made to the D-pad on the controller. Probably not. The original was poorly constructed and did not always register movement properly.

Is it just me or is the whole thing quite ghastly in black? I know it will look better beside the original behemoth, but correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't the 360 designed in Asia around a white shell from the very beginning. Dipping it in black really throws off the whole design aesthetic.

That's awesome. It's nice to be able to end all that "is it or isn't it an April Fool's joke?" speculation. I really like the black controller with the gray underbelly. It looks sleak. And I'm glad to see HDMI cables included, as well as component. Well anyway, since one of my two predictions about the announcement was correct, what do I win? Elite? Nice!
