High school math teacher, BS math + certification master's in secondary education I took fortran back in the punch card days! And had to kindof teach myself some other language in order to function in a numerical analysis course. Too many years had lapsed between coursework. Enjoy programming my TI calculator and teaching the students as time allows. It's not in my Calculus or Algebra curriculum. They amaze me with taking a little bit of knowledge (basically input-output) and running with it to meet their needs. I'm fascinated by the possible benefits that technology can provide to our students. I have worked for 16 years within a system that has alot of wonderful people, but it also lends me an understanding of some of the hurddles encountered when implementing technology.
