Star Trek Legacy for the Xbox 360

Well, I'm going to be honest here and say that I'm not really into Star Trek (however, I liked "The Next Generation" series, "STII: The Wrath of Khan" and "ST: First Contact" , the Borg, and of course, Spock rules!), but I would like to see a "good" Star Trek game made. I believe "Shattered Universe" was the most recent console game and it's too bad it got disappointing reviews.

I'm surprised a "good" Star Trek has not been made for a long time...hopefully, this new one for the next-gen consoles will have great gameplay.

BTW, Gears of War is STILL on my top list for this year (Call of Duty 3 is #2). I have a feeling GoW is just gonna pwn =)

Oh goodie, it's going to be released on the PC as well, and for less than 59.99 no doubt. I haven't played a Star Trek game since hmm, maybe 88? On the Atari ST, this was... I have to admit, I'm also a bigger TNG fan than a fan of the original series).

This game does look like it has the potential to be a great Star Trek game as I have seen and heard a lot of good things about it thus far. The idea of having massive space battles in the Star Trek universe does sound really cool. I can only hope that it will be as good as the claims that are being made and I guess we will find out really soon. It would be awesome to have a good Star Trek game for a change!

If I can fly the Defiant, then sign me up!  Huge DS9 fan here (oh and Enterprise was good too)!

I'm still a little confused though.  Is it an RTS?  Is it some sort of hybrid game?  I'm really interested in seeing gameplay footage.
