This does look like a very cool application as I was very impressed with it after the first segment 10 ran on it. Now, I'm even more impressed with the overall functionality and will have to try out the tech preview for sure. Thanks for the link!

Have you had a look at the Tech Preview: http://labs.live.com/photosynth/

Not sure how much it'll let us do (I'm about to download it myself) but fingers crossed.

This crossed with something like Riya (for face recognition) crossed with an automated image web crawler that conserves things like the source URL to display the website along with a picture as part of the metadata could make a pretty amazing app. Merge that into the 3d Virtual Earth tools....

This interview offered nothing new compared to the previous one on Channel 9.

The big question is: when will we be able to create a 3d environment with our own pictures?
