One of the things I really like about my Windows Mobile phone (a HTC 8525 on Cingular) is that I can change my entire UI whenever I want. I've used different skins, backgrounds, UI enhancements, heck - I even had it looking like an i-something-or-other for a while. It's this freedom to make the phone your own that sets WM devices apart from competitors.

That said, I've just found my next UI; the Spb Mobile Shell. This interface app focuses on clean looks, personalization, and a complete one-handed experience. Some of the features include the Spb Menu with Vista style icons for programs and actions, easier selection of camera modes, and a photo speed dial tab for selecing who to call by photo.

this app is amazing, pushing the windows Mobile 5 interface past Mobile 6. A great minimalist approach to the initial on screen.

This is amazingly cool... and doesn't run on my non-Pocket PC Windows Mobile device Sad

I'm bummed out...

It's nice and cool... but drains battery pretty fast. I uninstaled it after trying it for 3 days on my HTC Apache.

Love the icons and UI though Wink

cant see my last reply here.

Can someone else please confirm this battery drain problem, I have installed it on my Imate Kjam but cant confirm is it due to this spbshell or not, my usage of GPRS,Wifi surfing and listening songs is random.
