Channel 9 continues their Vista Week with
a great look behind the scenes
at Robert Fripp's work creating the soundscape behind the Windows Vista UX. In this one hour video you'll see how much thought went in to what you hear during the user experience and get a taste of the six hours of multi-track recordings that were composed and then whittled down for the default Windows Vista sound scheme.
Robert also talks about his gear and the recording equipment used at
Microsoft Studios
.
