Xbox Live: Please excuse our dust

I ran in to Major Nelson earlier grabbing take-out at Pasta Ya Gotcha. I'm surprised he noticed me at all since he was twittering, checking email, and talking on a conference call all at the same time. Turns out there's been a few problems on the Xbox Live network today. Sounded like everyone on the Xbox Live team were working on it though. Larry's site has been up and down tonight from all the traffic, but for the latest information you should keep an eye on his Twitter feed which is updated every few minutes.

It's always a heart breaker when you can't get on to play some friends at COD4 but bare with these folks, holiday success comes with a price (working on a Saturday night, missing a great football game, and a fat Inbox.) It's amazing how hard some people work so the rest of us can have fun. Smiley

Looks like the worst is behind them but still some issues.

Yeah, I have noticed a few problems lately...for example, last night, I got a connection error, while playing a COD4 match. A few nights ago, I also got signed out of LIVE, while playing Gears of War. Other times I just couldn't "Join Session in Progress". Anyway, hope to see these issues fixed, soon.
