On the eighth of August two thousand and eight, when the clock is exactly eight seconds past eight minutes past eight o'clock, the time will read 08:08:08 08/08/08. We want to invite you to take a photograph at this precise moment. The moment will of course occur twice in each time zone, once in the morning and once at night- which means you will get two opportunities to photograph the moment as it flies by you.

Then send your photograph/s to us and we'll put it up on the web with other photos. All of our photographs will together capture a portrait of the moment as it sweeps across the planet. Submit your photo/s (no more than eight please) before midnight on eighth of August.
