It's so nice to see our young students being given this opportunity to work with technology at such a young age. Our white, middle class young students, that is.

Great episode.  Probably the best episode so far.

I think one day I'm going to go back to college just to experience all the new technology innovations in education.

Private schools can give kids opportunites that public schools simply can't. I know when I was finishing high school (only 4 years ago), we were lucky to even have a single computer lab for the entire high school, middle school, and elementary.
Laura!

Great show!  Thanks again for coming out to FR for a look at our program and the power of the pen!

Many Private schools don't have the money Public schools do... Didn't you notice they were "requiring" these student to have tablets... Personally i think the government should provide every student at least a laptop. This could easily be done by not building just one Stealth Bomber and diverting those resources to pay for laptops (or so said some congress person on C-Span a couple years back...)

All in all i think it's good for the students and unfortunate for others not so financially well off, maybe in another 10 years you'll start seeing this sort of thing in public schools... hmm, maybe in 20 years the way our country is going with education.
Interested more about laptop use at Forest Ridge. Check out our blog (In Our Laps) http://66.228.213.155/jphillips/default.htm

I find this awsome! Now all we need is that guy from Futurama to stand at the door and yell "Welcome to the SCHOOL OF TOMORROW!"
