Join me down in San Mateo, CA as I check out Maker Faire! I chat with Dale Dougherty, editor and publisher of Make Magazine, to find out what this event is all about, and I learn about the Maker's Bill of Rights from Mr. Jalopy himself!

Want to see more? No worries, more Maker Faire coverage coming soon!

That's really cool, seems that all the really cool conferences and events always happen on the west coast. I think maybe it's time i move. I wish these segments were longer and I'm gonna have to check out that magazine.
You guys always seem to find the cool stuff with regards to technology and that is awesome!  Another great segment - keep em' coming.
This event was awesome-- we'll be posting mroe videos from it soon....
I wish I was able to make it to the west coast more often.  I know a few peple who would be right at home at the faire, including a guy who made a multi-can crusher with an anvil in a guillotine frame and a robot out of a refrigerator and some motors.

Everything good is out west...the faire...and E3. *sighs*
Nice pics, duncan...can't beat chics with flame throwers!
This is the kinda stuff that inspires me. It´s great to see how people use their creativity, intelligence and technology to create weird and wonderful things. I just looks like so much fun! I definetely hope to see some more Maker Faire on10. Smiley

I´d seen the flamethrower pic of Laura in Duncan´s blog and I couldn´t help but do this! Big Smile
