When Samsung, Curcuit City and Microsoft all come together to sponsor an event- you know it's going to be huge. While I was touring the floor amongst hundreds and hundreds of exhausted, jet-lagged, nervous and excited gamers, I ran into Jeff Bell. You may remember Jeff from my Halo 3 launch piece. He's really diving head first into the gaming community and here he tells us why.

A Battletech game or Crimson Skies even would be a great game for the comp.

Also.. does MS even HAVE any games that are played at the comp?

Yep. We published Age of Empries III. Also there's Gears of War on the 360, DOA 4 on the 360, PGR 3 on the 360 and Tony Hawk's project 8 on the 360.

Represent!

although, personally, my heart belongs to Counter Strike on the PC.

Why do the downloads almost never work when the post is initially made (at least the wmv versions)? Sad

Sorry dude. Thats really strange. Our devs are investigating.

Those are all games that are actually played in the competition??

All I mean is it would be nice to see classic franchises and even Shadowrun be worthy of the competition.

I suppose looking over the list of games.. wow that really isn't all that impressive at all.

At least by the next competition there will be games worth playing and getting excited about (assuming Starcraft 2 launches this decade.. if ever)
