As Microsoft Turkey we have launched Windows Live messenger for mobile with Turkcell which is the leading GSM operator. We are very excited to be launching this service in Turkey to Turkcell’s  34.5m number of subscribers. With this Windows Live Messenger, we will not only be reaching to new users but offer a new touch point to 23 million Turkish IM users. NEW GENERATION MSN MESSENGER IS NOW ON THE MOBILES OF TURKCELL SUBSCRIBERS

Thanks to the cooperation between Turkcell, the leading GSM operator in Turkey and Microsoft, global technology leader, Windows Live Messenger, is now on the mobiles of Turkcell subscribers. MSN users will now be able to log into the service and communicate with their online friends on their mobile phones, which will allow them to access, on their mobiles, the fast and easy chat environment that they have become accustomed to using on their PCs. Through its cooperation with Microsoft, Turkcell has now made Windows Live Messenger mobile. The service will allow MSN users to log into the service and communicate with their online friends on their mobile phones, thereby allowing them to access the fast and easy chat environment that they have become accustomed to using on their PCs.

By texting MSN to 7777 and downloading the application, Turkcell subscribers can access Windows Live Messenger wherever they are,  send as many messages as they’d like, and stay online for as long as they want without paying an extra fee. The application includes many features that are available on the PC client, and constitutes a  safe solution to access Windows Live Messenger via the mobile phone, in terms of user privacy and password security.

Windows Live Messenger is now available on Nokia 6151, 6233, 6280, 6288, 6630, 6680, N70, N73 and N95.
