Shidonni
is a social networking startup that delivers a creative “virtual world” that’s fun (and safe) for kids to play in. Designed with Silverlight technology, the Shidonni network is targeted towards young children between the ages of 4 and 8. Here, the kids can create their own interactive creatures and a world for their creatures to live in. After creating their virtual animal and world, kids can share their creations with their friends, play with their characters, and all of this is done while learning. It appears that today’s digital kids don’t just sit down with crayons and paper anymore – they can express their creativity online instead.
