So we've showed you what Microsoft and Sony have brought to this years E3, but what about Nintendo! Everybody's been talking about the Wii, Nintendo's next gaming console. Not to mention the video games you can play on it like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Baseball to name a few. Let's see if the Wii is all it's cracked up to be...

Seriously though, both the Wii and Tina looked great.
I must admit, I wasn't very excited about the Wii.  It wasn't because of the bad name either.  After seeing this video though I AM excited.  I'm still way more interested in the new 360 games, but still...Zelda and Tennis would be enough for me to buy the system.  And of course since I still would've spent less for both systems than buying a PS3!  Wink
I couldn't agree with you more.  Tina is a Nintendo booth babe and a goddess of gaming!
Until I try it out for myself, I´m still not totally sold on the Wii´s controller device. The marketing PR sounds too good/makes it look too good.

Did you get to try it out Tina? Any first hand comments?

but im just not up for drinking nintendos koolade.  its all gimmicks and over simplification as their way to gain back some of the ground theyve lost over the years to microsoft and sony. yeah of course people will buy it to play the usual games they always come out with and its all part of nintendos circle of life but to think whis wii mote and the wii will help them any more than the n64 and gamecube did is laughable.

they need new games and more original titles not a flimsy remote that will be easily broken and cost too much to be replaced. im already not happy ive had to wait this long to play twilight princessand nothing short of a very low price tag or getting one for free will convince me that getting a wii is worth it.

not to say im really wowed by the ps3 either you have to freakin sell body fluids and parts to afford one and seeing as how they dont do signifigant enough price drops often enough it looks like I'll be making the switch to xbox.
Not going any further with that line. hahaha.

But seriously. I've seen the remotes before, but this is the first time I've seen them in action. TOO COOL! It really opens up the interactivity aspect. So many things you can do, ways to move the remote, etc., etc. I honestly can't wait for this to come out. The Metroid Prime and Legend of Zelda games alone would be worth it, in my book. Not to mention all the downloadable classics!

Bring it on.
I think that's becoming a BIG factor in everyone's pro/con list. I've seen that price reference on a number of blogs and news articles. Is the PS3 really worth the cost of the 2 OTHER gaming systems combined? I doubt it, but we'll see!

Personally, I've never owned a PlayStation and can safely say that I never will. Yet, the price issue is a pretty interesting dilemma. I'll definitely be watching the PS3 from the sidelines. I'm anxious to see what kind of impact this will have on sales.
That was an enjoyable trip through Nintendo's latest console booth.  I was hoping you would have given us a bit more information about the DS Lite and the actual games, but it was still a good segment.

I was the only person posting on 10 to back Nintendo's marketing strategy, and I feel jusified.  I know it's still early, but Nintendo has never let me down.  I've enjoyed every console, handheld, and game the company has produced with the exception of the Virtual Boy.  Nintendo likes to try new things, and I truly respect that.  It seems all too often that other companies just watch what works, then incorporate it into their hardware.  Sony has been a little better lately...until that ripoff controller at E3.

There has been a lot of praise for the Wii-mote and even the hardest of gamers seems to have fallen for its charm.  I'm wondering just what you thought of your hands on time with it.
I would wager that Sony will drop the price dramatically right before or at launch as a "shock and awe" tactic that is sure to drive sales through the roof. At least this is what I hope they do, for their sake. Someone has to be smoking crack to think a large majority of gamers are gonna drop that kinda change.... damn crack smokers...
