I sit down with Steve Lombardi about Live Search Maps.  He talks about the difference between Live Search Maps and Virtual Earth.  He gives us the breakdown on some of the new features.  Live Search Maps was launched about two years ago.  Back then it only worked in Internet Explorer but now there is a Netscape style plug-in.  Yea, for Firefox fans. And if you're a fan of ratings and reviews...well, it's got that too.

I THINK THAT THIS IS GOING TO KICK GOOGLE EARTH @$$ !!!

There's a line... and you just leapt over it... :\

isnt it wonderful to have someone explain an application/program and simultaneously get video to the audio explanation showing a screen full with tiny text and unreadable icons?
This vids like way old honey,ur still looking fresh tho!

I never got why they just didn't simply call it Live Maps, instead of Live Search Maps. Live Maps just sounds more easier and better to me.

Live Maps = the mapping service

Virtual Earth = the mapping technology

That's really it. I guess I learned how to better manipulate the tools in this video. Not so bad, but long.
