The technology was demoed last week by showing a cell phone that recorded images of a print of Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" painting. After the camera took video images of the painting, a search of a database on the linked Windows XP computer returned results giving information about the painting as well as info about the the recent film of the same title.
