JD and I have decided to start our own little podcast to discuss things that are happening in the world of technology. For convenience, I've set this up to be hosted at http://jdandbrian.podshow.com, but it will still have an RSS feed from my Channel 10 blog page.

In this first episode, we introduce ourselves and talk about what we're going to talk about on the show. We're planning to record these on Thursday, and I'll try to have them posted by Friday morning.

The Voice behind Halo's Guilty Spark

Our beloved Duncan came across an interview with Tim Dadabo who is the voice behind Halo's Guilty Spark. 360 Stylecast did the interview and Tim offers a little perspective into the Halo Universe. Check out the podcast which is hosted by Avid X and Bimbo Barbie. I had an opportunity to do a little video game voice-over myself for the highly acclaimed video game JAWS UNLEASHED on the Xbox. Yea, I didn't think you played it. It got a 3.8 on gamespot. I could only play past the first level where I heard myself screaming "It's a Shark"! "Somebody help me"! "My leg, My leg"! I was too frustrated by the controls and choppy gameplay to continue, although I'm sure JAWS takes a chunk out of me in Level 2. It was a pretty cool experience regardless.

The boys are back and oh how we've missed them. They start out talking about their achievements....life achievements you ask? NO! Video game achievements of course :) Then it's on to some Games for Windows news and the boys get to the bottom of that nasty rumor about having to pay for multi-player on the PC.

David Trescot of Rhozet and I were guests on last week's episode of Derrick Freeman's "The DV Show." David talked about Carbon (a great compression product, soon to support our VC-1 Encoder SDK), and I answered questions about Windows Media, Silverlight, and the VC-1 Encoder SDK.

It's Friday so it's time to check in with my boys from The GamerScore Blog. This week we reflected on what is now known as the biggest launch in entertainment history: Halo 3. On top of that we threw out some Tokyo Game Show goodness and took a look at what we have coming out on the horizon. Oh- and we also introduced Nelson Rodriguez to the cast and if I do say so myself, he's pretty darn amusing :)

I get the opportunity to sit down with the gamerscoreblog team. They do a weekly podcast already and now they've invited me to attend on a weekly basis. We talk all things Xbox. This week the boys are hitting the road for some community events. This is where they communicate and get to hang with all of you guys. We talk about some of the new titles coming out, including Shadowrun and Forza2 Motorsport. The original podcast is over 20 minutes long which you can listen to on the gamerscoreblog.com site but for our purposes we chopped it down to around seven. Hope you enjoy.
