Green Awnings powering both your home and your plants

The environmental health clinic at NYU approaches health from an environmental point of view. That being said, we all know it is necessary for plant growth in order for humans to live. In this clip you will see how the health clinic has created Solar Cells, on something they call the Green Awning, that produce power in the form of LED lights that can power your home and feed your plants all at the same time.

Ever wonder how a stoplight works? We all know they never work precisely how we want them to, but what about their innards? I head to the factory of Carmanah Technologies for some hard workobservation (I hate getting my hands dirty). Carmanah combines solar energy and LEDs in order for planes and ships to traverse the planet safely. We can also thank them for those metering lights getting onto the freeway on our way home.
